Edited images

The first shot you see in our thriller is that of the phone as the alarm goes off and its purpose is to shock the audience. Therefore I thought a good idea would be to take that shot and edited it a bit, that way seeing how different effects can impact its purpose. For instance in the left bottom corner we see how that effect makes the whole picture seem much fuzzier and that may have an impact on some of the audience and make them too feel a bit dizzy, therefore hinting that something is wrong to them. Similarly, the phone on the bottom right is edited in what’s known as the 'nose' option and that makes the whole image a bit jittery and could symbolise the connection breaking, once again its a way of building suspense which is one of the main characteristics of a thriller.
